Please read through the issue online or visit www.ien-online.com to search for products or manufacturers that interest you. In this issue, corresponding to the June/July magazine, we are bringing you two special focus sections; one on industrial network technologies and a second on safety systems.
An extended article introduces Harting Electric's novel approach to combining office and plant communications. Automation IT, which links the office to the plant or factory, shows the growing power of Ethernet. The safety focus is introduced with a case study of Jokab safety sensors installed in an Elopak dairy products filling plant in Malmö , Sweden.
Also, there are another nine technology in action articles which link to more extensive information on our website.
