Merkel and Erdogan to open Hannover Fair

The opening ceremony of the Hannover Messe in 2007 will be conducted by the prime minister of Turkey , Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the German Chancellor Andrea Merkel. In a press release, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce states that the tradeshow partnership ‘will bring a new dimension to commercial and economic' relations between the two countries.

More than 200 Turkish companies will be expected at the show. – It will be a milestone for the Turkish industry, says Murat Yalçintas of the ICOC.
