ASA is an Italian company that produces and sells flowrate measuring devices for industrial applications for more than 70 years. ASA has developed many different kinds of flow meters during the years: from traditional variable area flowmeters with glass tube, to magnetic coupling flowmeters, to the high-tech electromagnetic flowmeters.
The new Electromagnetic Inductive Flowmeter, mod. ASAMAG, has cleaning electrodes; remote control with serial interface; Sensorprom that has recorded inside all the data of calibration.
In order to satisfy demands for instruments of measure with high safety features and optimal performances of measure in presence of small flow with low pressure losses, ASA has recently made a new series of Asameters with metallic tube L38-L39 with ¼" NPT or ½" gas F connections, for small and very small flowrates (from 0,4 l/h up), with output 4-20 mA (Hart protocol communication on request).
ASA got the certification UNI EN ISO 9001 - Vision 2000 (Certificate n° 51001465), its manufacturing processes are quality granted (for ex. WPS for welding processes); ASA got the ATEX certification (CESI-04 ATEX 067 X) on all metallic tube ASAMETRS (Eex ia execution) for installation in dangerous areas and for ASAMAG is in process.
